Jonathan Lawrence
Director
Co-Writer
Co-Producer
Editor
Jonathan Lawrence is one of the "founding members" of Dream
Parlor. He and star Christopher Andrews started working on the screenplay
together in Spring, 1994. The story saw many changes over the following
years, until production began in Spring, 1997.
In addition to serving as director, co-screenwriter, co-producer, and
editor, Jonathan has also been working diligently towards his next
projects. He has begun ground work for production of his screenplay,
"Uncertain, Texas," and is currently in production as director
of the film The Family Mancuso, co-written with Mark Byers.

Jonathan Lawrence picked up a movie camera at the tender age of eight,
and so began his lifelong love affair with storytelling through film that
has touched audiences everywhere. And he hasn't put the camera down since.
As a result of these years of experience, Jonathan has become one of
today's premiere visual stylists - a communicator in images and emotions -
shooting straight for the heart.
His award-winning work has often been compared with that of his
inspirational mentors, Orson Wells, Frank Capra, James Cameron and Steven
Spielberg:
Powerful, moving visuals. Riveting performances. Seamless storytelling.
His productions continuously astound entertainment industry craftsmen
and executives with his ability to squeeze extraordinary production values
and heartfelt performances out of impossible schedules and miserly
budgets.
Prior to becoming a professional director, Jonathan worked in virtually
every position on a film crew, so he intimately understands the process of
making a motion picture - from script to screen.
In addition to his skills as a director, Jonathan is also an
accomplished producer, screenwriter, editor, and digital effects animator,
on features, documentaries, music videos, and commercials.
Jonathan's directing credits include Dream Parlor, Windsong,
Local Heroes, and Vengeance.
