Scott York
Director of Photography

Scott York graduated from the University of California at Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in film and television production and a BA in cultural Anthropology. In addition he has studied film at AFI and UCLA film schools.

After graduation, he worked as a film editor, cutting the PBS documentary "Still Going Strong" and then went to work for the Orange County Department of Education, producing and directing scores of nationally marketed educational films and videos. Always enjoying the elements of lighting and composition in film and video production, Scott has served as Director of Photography on many productions for the Department of Education, The American Red Cross and numerous other independent shorts, and documentaries. Scott has recently completed shooting Dream Parlor, his second feature film.
