20 years have passed since the rise of the New World Order. We
have seen Eli lose his father as a child, and working against the
System from within as an adult. However, as the adult Eli
travels home after another day's work in the Data Processing Center,

the Parlor salesman's pitch until he realizes that specific

resemblances to a woman he's seen recently on the subtrain–Eli
finally becomes enthralled by what the Dream Parlor has to
offer . . ." |

co-worker Dana's increasingly erratic behavior.
After a week of tension due to a previous argument, Eli's friend
Jacob decides to break the ice, with Dana in tow . . ." |
